3.3 Inspection

1) Use special measuring instruments or tools for part inspection, Determine whether parts can be used any longer according to the specified Maintenance Table, Repair and replace damaged parts as required, In case of any worn part among mating parts, which makes the clearance exceed the one specified, replace such part and other mating parts as per relevant requirements.

2) In view of preventive maintenance, replace those parts under repair or within abrasion limit before they exceed such limit

3) Carefully inspect the appearance of all parts visually or by specified means such as red pigment infiltration etc. If any of the following defects is found on the outer surface of parts, repair or replace relevant parts as per requirements.

Abnormal defects

• Uneven wear

• Eccentric wear

• Scratch

• Crack

• Malformation

• Failure or weakening (for spring)

•  Bend deformation

• Looseness

• Abnormal noise (for bearing)

• Deterioration (for brake lining)

• 4) Throw away all rubber parts, O-rings, oil seals, gaskets etc after removal and do not use them any more
